Possibly the best and PLEASANT stay on a road trip. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Really helpful and competent staff throughout our stay. The most important - exceptionally nice location in the centre of the town. Also - short walk to restaurant and a national park.

A little hot room.

Fantastic hotel in a lovely building with great views of the lake and the mountains. Exceptionally comfortable beds in our standard room. A lot of goodies for breakfast. The parador is located high up in the Cantabrian Mountains close to the pleasant town of Cervera. The real point of the hotel is its spectacular views of the lake from the rooms at the back. Rather cynically, these rooms cost more even in low season, but pay the extra, its worth it.

The rooms, and especially the bathrooms, are in urgent need of a makeover. The restaurant is expensive. You can eat well for much less in the local town.

Impressive Parador in the Picos de Europa.

The hotel boasts a fantastic setting around the turquoise lake and amidst the surrounding mountains, making it a great base for explorations. The terrace offers stunning views of the hills, and the rooms are comfortable, some featuring verandas to admire the picturesque setting. The staff provides excellent service and the under-cover car parking protects your car from the sun.

The hotel's signage for finding the entrance from the motorway could be improved, making it easier to reach the location, especially in the dark.
